The Colombian Confederation of Chambers of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and the Superintendence of Corporations will carry out the 8th International Forum of Corporate Governance “launching the Colombian Guide of Corporate Governance for Family and Closely Held Companies"

With the organization of this event CONFECAMARAS continues its work to strengthen the Colombian business sector, and confirms, therefore, its commitment to the dissemination of Good Corporate Governance practices.

In the Forum there will be a public presentation of the Colombian Guide of Corporate Governance for Family and Closely Held Companies, which make up the majority of Colombian business and mobilize an important part of the national economy and the employment.

The guide provides closely held and family business the tools for optimal risk management derive from their administration, improve sustainability and align their governance structures allowing them to receive investment capital.

Professor Erik PM Vermeulen from Tilburg  University, the Director of the Central Chamber of Commerce of Finlan, Leena Linnainmaa, Michael Penfold from the Andean Development Corporation, Ricardo Câmara Leal from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Javier Etcheverry partner of Marval O'Farrell & Mairal of Argentina are some international experts who will raise in the event the central aspects of the current development of Corporate Governance in the world.
