Javier Etcheverry Boneo

Javier Etcheverry Boneo is a partner of Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal since 1996, having joined the firm in 1991. Previously he had worked with the law firm of Clifford Chance. Specialised in business law, his practice includes corporate finance, international capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. During 1995 he worked as advisor for the Argentine Government and the Argentine Central Bank in the regulatory and contractual issues relating to the restructuring of the financial system in Argentina.

Also, he took an active part in the process of consolidation of the cable television industry, working in regulatory aspects as well as in the acquisition, merger, financing and debt offerings of several CATV companies. Javier Etcheverry Boneo obtained his law degree in the Universidad de Buenos Aires and in 1990 he obtained a Master in International Commercial Law (LL.M.) in the University of Kent, England. In 1988 he was awarded a scholarship from the Fundación Universitaria del Río de la Plata to participate in various courses in Georgetown University, Washington D.C., and in the Colorado School of Mines.

Javier Etcheverry Boneo obtuvo su licenciatura en derecho en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y en 1990 obtuvo un Master en Derecho Comercial Internacional (LL.M.) en la Universidad de Kent, Inglaterra. En 1988 se le concedió una beca de la Fundación Universitaria del Río de la Plata para participar en diversos cursos en la Universidad de Georgetown, Washington DC, y en el Colegio de Minas de Colorado.
