Hernando Ruiz López - Superintendence of Corporations of Colombia
He is an Economist from the National University and MBA from the Universidad de los Andes. Currently doing a Master Degree for Companies’ Presidents in the Universidad de los Andes. He has been Deputy General Director from Sena 1999, National Director of Profesional Training in the Sena from 1999 to 2001, Governor in charge from Huila in 1996, National Planning Director from 1995 to 1997, Chief Operating Officer of DRI from 1991 to 1992, the Executive Director from the journal La Nacion from 2003 to 2007. He is also Professor at the Universities ESAP, Surcolombiana, Inpahu, INCCA, among others. He is Member of the Colombian Society of Economists. |

Ricardo Duarte Duarte - Vice ministry of Business Development
Lawyer from the Universidad Javeriana, with postgraduate degrees in Government, Management and Public Affairs at Columbia University and Universidad Externado University; as well a Master Degree on International Business Law at the American University, Washington College of Law and Universidad Javeriana.
Current Vice ministry of Business Development in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. His primary function is to promote the development of new and emerging world class sectors and stimulate the production of those already exporting but in need to sell to the world goods with a higher value added. These strategies are taken as the axis of the productive transformation of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. The objective is to maintain a high and sustained economic growth and a major generation of formal employment. Another priority of the Vice Minister Duarte is to promote the creation of new free zones and the signing of legal stability contracts, instruments with which it seeks to increase the flow of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). |

María Fernanda Campo Saavedra - Chief Executive of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota
Industrial Engineere from the Universidad de los Andes with a master's degree in finance. She served as vice chancellor and private consultant of the financial sector in the country. Since 2000 she has been leading the Chamber of Commerce, she is in charged of the implementation and development of business, social and cultural projects. One proposal that has been a pillar during her administration is the support to young entrepreneurs. |

Her department runs the Finnish Panel on Take-overs and Acquisitions in addition to licensing the Finnish real estate agents, goods inspectors and property valuers. He is Ph.D. from Columbia University, New York, specialized on political economy, institutional development and competitiveness. He is Associate Professor at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Administración (IESA). Penfold has been a consultant with extensive international experience in local development issues and competitiveness.
